Policy:
It has always been Knitables policy to
treat our customers in exactly in the way we like to be treated
ourselves. The sight of small print shivers down our spines, but
it appears that not only to add to our creditability but to
comply with new legislation (EC Distance Selling Directive) we
are required to offer you our own 'large print' version. You
should note that your statutory rights under the current
consumer protection laws are not affected (more probably
enhanced).
Data & Privacy:
The information collected from you at the
time you place an order (on you or those you gift to) will be
stored in our database and is used purely to contact you through
our newsletter and to carry out your instructions and action
your payment. There are no circumstances under which, this
information might be passed to a third party.
Supply:
We
undertake to supply you with the goods described in these web
pages in PDF (Portable Document Format) format immediately
following a completed transaction with Paypal. During busier
periods, delivery may be subject to a non specified delay. We
will endeavour to deliver your PDF's as soon as possible.
Pattern Errors:
We will endeavour to ensure that all PDF
patterns are correct and accurate at time of release. However,
should we be informed of an error with a design, we will amend
the pattern and re-distribute a revised pattern to all that have
received the pattern.
Guarantee:
In the light of the forgoing you will
appreciate we feel confident that we can unequivocally guarantee
your total satisfaction with our product and service. Again you
should note that your statutory rights under the current
consumer protection laws are not affected (more probably
enhanced).
Refunds:
In
the event of loss, late delivery or dissatisfaction with the
product supplied and a replacement is not acceptable we will
offer a full refund up to a maximum of 60 days from the day of
transaction. The goods need not be returned and a full refund
will be sent. If initial payment was by Paypal, then the refund
will be made back to your Paypal Account within 60 days from the
transaction.
Payment:
All payments are to be made through a
third party payment processor - Paypal UK, an eBay company. At
the time of transaction your credit card will be charged and we
will be informed of such transaction. Paypal uses
the-state-of-the-art encryption, so your information is not
available to anyone else - (BS7799 - Code of Practice for
Information Security Management).
VAT:
Knitables is not registered for VAT in
the UK. However, Knitables pays VAT in accordance with EU VAT
Regulations. VAT is collected and payed through the various
third party pattern sales websites listed on Knitables.
Complaints:
Any complaints will be taken very
seriously and will be dealt with promptly. Please use the

Copyright:
The contents of the Knitables website
and PDF patterns are protected by copyright law. All rights
reserved. Knitables grants a single user license to use the PDF
patterns for private use only and not for commercial purposes.
You are not allowed to sell the finished item online (ie ETSY,
eBay etc). Unauthorised copying, hiring or lending of the
Knitables PDF patterns is prohibited. Charities wishing to
distribute the Knitables PDF patterns for the purpose of
fundraising must have written permission allowing them to do so.
Knitables also provide a number of free
PDF patterns and these can be downloaded from Craftsy and
Ravelry. You may provide a link to a third party to the patterns
but you may not save and re-distribute the PDF patterns. All
pattern downloads are tracked through Ravely and Craftsy.
System Requirements:
To view the
Knitables PDF patterns the user will need to have the Adobe
Reader (Version 5, or later) installed on their PC to view the
PDF correctly.

Disclaimer:
In no event shall we, Knitables, be
liable for any losses or damage sustained and arising out of or
in connection with use of the Knitables website and Knitables
knitting patterns including, without limitation, loss of
profits, loss of data or loss of goodwill (in all cases whether

loss.

You agree that when you download any of
Knitables' patterns, both paid and free, you agree that your
email address will be automatically added to our newsletter
database. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link
in the newsletter or contacting us through our website.
Final Note:
Any concern that you might have regarding
security, privacy or complaint in connection with making a
purchase online may always be taken up with our office.
